This complete performance package combines NCY's variator, drive face, secondary slider, bearing spring seat, 1500 RPM compression spring, performance clutch, clutch bell and multiple roller weights into one matched transmission setup.

Designed to improve acceleration, throttle response, CVT operation and overall transmission performance on compatible GY6-powered scooters and other applications.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE – PLEASE READ

This kit DOES NOT fit every GY6-style engine.

GO-KART OWNERS AND QMK ENGINE OWNERS SHOULD BUY WITH CAUTION.

Some go-karts, ATVs, QMK engines and specialty GY6 applications use different CVT components, shaft dimensions, variator configurations or rear transmission components. Having "GY6," "QMK," "QMJ," or a similar engine designation does NOT automatically guarantee fitment.

PLEASE COMPARE YOUR ORIGINAL CVT COMPONENTS, SHAFTS, SPLINES AND DIMENSIONS WITH THE SPECIFICATIONS ABOVE BEFORE ORDERING.

POLARIS RZR 170 NOTE

This kit can be used with certain Polaris RZR 170 applications; however, modification may be required. On some RZR 170 models, the center hole of the NCY variator top plate must be enlarged to properly clear the variator shaft.

INSTALLATION NOTES

A new, high-quality CVT drive belt is recommended when installing this kit.

The drive belt and belt-contact surfaces of the variator and drive faces MUST remain clean and dry. Do not apply grease to belt-contact surfaces.

Use appropriate heat-resistant moly-graphite grease only on components requiring lubrication, such as:

• Slider grooves
• Slider pins
• Bearing spring seat
• Inner funnel / secondary slider areas

REUSED ORIGINAL COMPONENTS

Installation requires reuse of certain original components, including:

• Variator Boss
• Washers
• Rear Pulley Plate Shaft
• Slider Pins
• Slider Seat Funnel Cover
• Clutch Nut
• Variator / Related Nuts

BASIC VARIATOR INSTALLATION

1. Open the clutch/rear pulley to create belt slack at the variator.

2. Install the variator and drive face while keeping the belt away from the center boss so the drive face can fully seat.

3. Verify the drive face and boss are properly seated. There should not be exposed splines between the properly seated components.

4. Reinstall the original variator fan, washer and nut.

5. Tighten to the proper torque specification for your specific vehicle. Always follow the vehicle manufacturer's service specifications.

IMPORTANT

CVT performance parts require proper installation and tuning. Roller weight selection, spring combination, belt condition and engine configuration can affect acceleration, RPM and top-speed characteristics.

Always verify fitment and installation requirements for your specific vehicle before installation.
